Today I posted a statement on Facebook and Twitter. It reads:
"You can go far if you learn to conquer your fears."
Now, I hear that statement over and over in my head. I didn't read it or hear anyone mention it today, although I might have I heard it somewhere at some other time. Maybe not. Maybe it was a message straight from God. Anyway, as I posted it, I knew it was meant for me, but not only for me.
You might be familiar with the acronym for fear: (F)alse (E)vidence (A)ppearing (R)eal. Fear cripples many people. The fear of success, fear of the unknown, fear of rejection, and so many other fears exist. Fear paralyzes a person. It certainly indicates a lack of faith, either in God or the individual. Perhaps, it indicates a lack of faith in both. When one allows fear to control his life, he maximizes that thing he is afraid of and minimizes what God can do concerning it.
Don't allow fear to hold you captive. You can go far if you learn to conquer your fears.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV
Be blessed.
FEAR CHANGES YOUR FOCUS,WEAKENS YOUR RESOLVE AND STOPS YOU FROM REACHING. I LOVE YOUR BLOGS AND WISH YOU WOULD DO THEM MORE OFTEN.
ReplyDeleteI agree and thank you.
ReplyDeleteActually, I've prayed about deleting this blog. I'm not sure if it's serving the purpose I thought it would. We will see what happens.
