GOD SEES YOUR WORK

It feels good to receive a nod, an applause, or some time of recognition for the work we do. It validates to us in some way of a job well done. It can motivate us to do more and do better. But what about the times when our work goes unnoticed by the boss, peers, family and friends, etc.? If we are not careful, we might find ourselves falling into a trap of people pleasing or not giving our best simply because of a lack of a "thank you" or "good job".

The Creator sees all. The work we do does not go unnoticed by Him. Yes, it feels good from time to time to receive some type of acknowledgement for what we do but do not allow acknowledgment to be your motivator for working and doing your best.

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. Colossians 23,24

Be blessed.

  8. You're welcome and thank you.

You're absolutely right. It can be discouraging when we wait for others to acknowledge what we do but when we remember that it's what God knows about us that matters, we can be encouraged.

    Be blessed.
