BE A LIGHT

We cannot turn on the t.v. or radio without seeing and hearing about the ugly, dark situations that are taking place all over the world. In times of darkness, we can choose to be a light. We can take time to brighten up the day of others who lives are filled with darkness.

Be a light in someone's life today. We may never know just how much a smile, hug, or kind word will brighten someone's day. It cost us nothing to do these things, yet mean so much. I am sure we can all think back to a time when days seemed dark, but someone was kind enough to do something that changed the mood of the day. Do you remember how the nice gesture made you feel?

If you have not done so, take the time to spread love and happiness to others. Be a light. In the process of doing so, you will find yourself being encouraged.

Be blessed.

  1. So true. We forget that we bring a huge impact to one person. We can make a big difference by our words, our gesture and even by our simple smile.

    Thanks for this wonderful reminder.

    How are you doing? :)

    1. You're welcome.

I'm doing fabulous on this very cold icy morning. :) I won't dare try to go in to work today but I will be productive here at home. How are you?

  5. Hi Misty,

Thank you for your encouragement. Oh how the world needs our Lord's light! I so agree with the need to continually look for ways we can demonstrate our Saviour's love, hope, and kindness, to allow Him to work through us to touch the hearts of those in great need...
    God bless
