LIFE

Your life might not be going the way you planned or expected, but really, can anyone say life is going the way as planned or expected?

We hit some potholes in the road along this journey. We travel some smooth roads as well. We experience ups and downs. This is life. God never promised us that we would never face problems once we accepted Jesus. In fact, we are reminded that trials and tribulations will come:  These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

Let us thank God life is not as bad as it could be. I promise you this. There is someone in this world who is worse off than you.  I also want to remind you that Jesus is a present help.

Be blessed.

GOD SEES YOUR WORK

It feels good to receive a nod, an applause, or some time of recognition for the work we do. It validates to us in some way of a job well done. It can motivate us to do more and do better. But what about the times when our work goes unnoticed by the boss, peers, family and friends, etc.? If we are not careful, we might find ourselves falling into a trap of people pleasing or not giving our best simply because of a lack of a "thank you" or "good job".

The Creator sees all. The work we do does not go unnoticed by Him. Yes, it feels good from time to time to receive some type of acknowledgement for what we do but do not allow acknowledgment to be your motivator for working and doing your best.

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. Colossians 23,24

Be blessed.

ANOTHER YEAR BEGINS

Another year begins. Let us start the new year off right.

1.  Leave 2014's baggage in 2014 and be determined you will not pick up baggage in 2015.

2.  Rid yourself and environment of toxic people and things and stay away from toxic places

3.  Be open to what God wants to do in your life, through your life, and where He wants to take you.

4.  Do your part in making your dreams a reality. Refuse to remain in a comfortable stagnate place.

5.  Expect bigger and better in 2015.

It is a new year and the Lord s doing a new thing.

Do not remember the former things,
Nor consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18,19

Be blessed.
