TO EVERYTHING THERE IS A SEASON

Whether we like it or not, seasons change. We can embrace the change or not, but still, it happens. We are forever learning in life and there is certainly something to be learned in each season we enter.

I have learned to embrace the cycle. Some seasons lasts longer than others. That makes me really excited, especially when it seems everything is going my way and trouble has not found me. When a season brings trouble, I desire the power to press the fast forward button and slide into the next season. I cannot do that, so I flow with what God is doing in my life.

Instead of fighting against the turn of a new season, get excited about the chance to learn something new or to see life from a different perspective.

To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:
A time to be born,
    And a time to die;
A time to plant,
    And a time to pluck what is planted;
A time to kill,
    And a time to heal;
A time to break down,
    And a time to build up;
A time to weep,
    And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
    And a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones,
    And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace,
    And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to gain,
    And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
    And a time to throw away;
A time to tear,
    And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence,
    And a time to speak;
A time to love,
    And a time to hate;
A time of war,
    And a time of peace. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Be blessed.

  1. Indeed there are only 2 things that are constant: change and God's love. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Great post as usual!

  2. Each of us comes into this world with an assignment to fulfill. The graveyards are full of great men and women who never became great because they did not give their ability responsibility. You have great posts; please keep them going!!!

    1. I feel somber at the thought of the reality of graveyards filled dreams and greatness.

      Thank you and I will.
