LORD, WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO TODAY?

Many times we go before the Lord in prayer with requests for ourselves and for others. This is good. The Lord wants us to request of Him and definitely pray for others, but how often do we ask Him what does He want from us? Thinking back, when is the last time you asked, "Lord, what do you want me to do today?"

As you pray this morning, do not forget to ask the Lord what plans does He have for you today. Ask Him who does He want you to reach out to or go visit. Ask Him to order your steps and direct your path today. Trust Him as He directs your steps. You will be blessed for your obedience and blessed to be a blessing.

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5,6 KJV

Have a great day.

Be blessed.

  2. There's so much for us to do for Him, I agree. Being led to say and do what is unfamiliar to us can be quite uncomfortable, but looking at the bigger picture, it's about His plan and reaching as many as we can.

  3. Misty, God's daily agenda is the only safe agenda. When we are not in tune with the leading of the Spirit, instead choosing to what we determine is "pleasing" to the Lord, we are in disobedience. The one thing we can be sure of; every day God allows us to live, His will is for us to die more to self, and lay something else that we treasure on the altar of sacrifice. When we purpose to do these things, His agenda will takes us to uncomfortable places and put us in the path of difficult people, but He came to seek and save the lost. We must let our light shine so people can see our good works and give HIM the glory.

    Blessings!
